A New Adventure; A Brand New Blog

So, the Zimmerman’s have officially entered the world of blogging (maybe?)….

At this point you may be wondering what brought this on. Great Question! I am finding myself asking the same thing …. What in the world am I doing on here? And as my sweet (but honest) friend Crystal pointed out : do I really have that much to talk about ? ?

But the fact is, I’m kind of in to the whole “blogging” thing. I like to read my family and friends blogs and get funny stories I would have otherwise missed. I also secretly like to read complete strangers blogs – their perspective is so interesting and different from mine - it's refreshing sometimes. (is that creepy of me?)

Who knows – maybe it’s the long hours in front of a computer at work or the deep desire in my soul to stay connected to others – ESPECIALLY those I love, but whatever spurred this on – I’m giving it a shot.

Let’s face it - It seems that these days that family and friends are spread not only out of town, but out of the state – and I miss EVERBODY. I also have a terrible, terrible habit of going home and laying on the couch, watching TV and crawling in to bed at a lame 10pm – and neglecting to call the ones I love the most. This is a terrible, terrible, flaw that I promise to work on. This blog will not replace those connections I love to make with family and friends, but will ‘enhance’ those relationships.

This way when I’m on the phone with you and my dog starts barking, my husband is motioning for the remote and I’m loading the dishwasher – and I get totally distracted and forget to tell you some of those intimate details – they are all right here – ready for your enjoyment and amusement at any given moment. Keep in mind – you may not care to gather any more details from my life – the LORD knows I babble on quite enough, but that is fine - you just take your little mouse surfing hand right of here. (ok, please come back, I’m so lonely!)

No really, I hope this is a good experience for all. I used to love to journal but didn’t like the permanence of writing it down. You couldn’t use the backspace bar to delete that mis-spelled word – which I have many – or rephrase the profound thought. The typing thing is way better for me.

P.S. In case you were wondering, the Name of the blog a merging of my name and Casey's name. It seems even more appropriate when you take in to consideration that it sounds like the word "crazy" when you say it - and if you know us - you know we can be downright crazy :)
